Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a tough day of fishing today. It was a bit slower today, but we still managed a catch of porgies, nice sea bass- with everyone almost to their limit- and a handful of cod. We had some dogfish around today which always makes for some tougher fishing. Today’s pool winner was Thaddius Roberts with a 3lb porgy.

Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports that  we had some nice size scup and some sea bass in the mix. The pool winner was Mr Matt Walker from Long Valley, NJ with a 3.1 lbs porgy.

Night Striped Bass Full Moon Special Captain Carl reports a very slow night of striped bass. We had no bites which meant no bass. Unfortunately we are done striped bass fishing for the season. We also had 1 cod fish and 2 striped bass. The first place pool winner was Peter Seabrooke from Kings Park, NY with a 3.5lb porgy. Second place went to Tina Nichols from Brooklyn, NY with a 9lb striped bass.

Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports good fishing again today on the porgy and sea bass grounds. We had  some really nice  quality size scup and sea bass come over the rails. The Porgy and edible pool first and second place pool went to Ms Nikki Noel from Brooklyn, NY with a 3.5lbs porgy and 4.5lbs sea bass.

Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing on the Viking Starship. It was nice early and that is when they caught most of the porgies and sea bass. It got rough out later in the trip and the fishing slowed down. The first place pool winner was Sandra Martinez from Bronx, NY with a 3.95lb porgy. The second place pool winner was Arlis Meza from Staten Island, NY with a 4 1/2lb sea bass.

Half Day Mixed Bag – AM Captain Carl reports an okay morning aboard the Viking Star. We had a nice mix of porgies, sea bass, blues, triggerfish and a few blackfish in the mix. Today’s pool winner was Mike Scott of Patchogue with a 6lb blackfish. Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass-Viking Superstar Captain Steven Sr. reports phenomenal fishing! Block Island Porgies and Sea Bass at its best!!! There was also a good showing of cod up to 19lbs. The first place pool winner was Pueblo Mendoza from Staten Island, NY with a 3.8lb porgy. Night Striped Bass Captain Carl reports a very slow evening last night aboard the Viking Starship. The night bite remains very dismal. All night we only had 6 blues and 1 short bass. There fish were just not there. The first place pool winner was Michael Stetson of Shirley, NY with a 10lb bluefish and in second place was 12 year old Jesse Sangirardi of St. James, NY with an 8lb bluefish. Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a bit of a tough day today aboard the Viking Starship with the windy conditions. It was slow fishing with some poriges, sea bass and some cod. Today’s first place pool winner was Henry Mattis of Bay Shore with a 3lb porgy and in second place was John Chang of Queens with a 16 lb cod.
