New Bedford Porgies – AM Trip Capt Dave reports excellent fishing on the Starship! The action was not as crazy as yesterday, but the fish were bigger today. They ranged from 3lbs to 3.5lbs. There were some seabass that were thrown back. Overall it was a good morning.

New Bedford Jumbo Porgies:PORGY TIME! Captain Dave reports that the porgies bit like crazy today with some nice market size porgies up to 3lbs. You could not ask for a better day on the fishing grounds. Saturday May 9
New Bedford, MA Porgies Capt Dave reports a good start to the New Bedford, MA porgy season! There was a very good bite in the early morning and it slowed up a bit late morning. Anglers had a half to full limit of fish. No sea bass were caught (season opens May 23rd) and a couple short striped bass were caught. The pool winner was Akin Alphonzo of Amityville, NY with a 2.75 lb Porgy.

April 17th-38 Hour Tile/Hake/Wreck Express Capt Steven Sr. reports an excellent start to our 2015 Offshore Fishing Season! After losing a bunch of trips because of weather, we were very excited to get out there! We were welcomed with perfect conditions, and hungry fish from the deep waters! All day long we caught a good, steady pick of Golden Tilefish, mostly in the medium to large range class, and also had a mix of Pollack, Cod, Hake, Barrelfish, a few Blue Line Tilefish, Cusk, and even a few Rosies! We did have some dogfish in the mix also, but they weren’t too bad.
