Viking Fleet Fishing Reports

Sat Aug 25

Night Striped Bass Capt Carl reports a welcome improvement on the Bass grounds tonight. We saw a slow but steady pick of mostly XL model moo cows for the first couple of hours while the tide was right catching anywhere from 1-4 Striped Bass per drift and we lost quite a few because of their size and strength! There were a few blues in the mix as well. It certainly wasn’t a slammer trip, but it was great to see the big Bass on the feed and on our deck! Robert Figat of Rockville Center, NY took first in the pool with a 44 pound Behemoth, and Luis Fernandez of Coram, NY took second with a beauty 42 pounder! We are SOLD OUT for tomorrow nights trip.
