Tuesday September 10

Block Island Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports another great day of fishing today. We headed to the west side and found a slew of porgies. We had some time to look for some sea bass, and although we found them, we had to pick through a lot to keep a few. But everyone managed to get a couple sea bass. We did have a couple fluke and bluefish, but it was mostly porgies today. Today’s pool winner was Lou with a 3lb porgy.

Full Day Montauk Porgies – June 20th

Captain Dave reports a picky day of fishing on the Viking Starship.  When the conditions were right with the heavy tide, the catch was the best. We had nice size porgies, one striped bass, and some sea bass (released, unharmed). Today’s pool winner was Keith Watson of Freeport, NY with a 4lb porgy.
