Sunday September 14th

Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports an okay day of fishing today. It was a tough start with the wind and rough seas, but as the day went on the weather improved and so did the fishing. We had mostly sea bass today with some porgies mixed in. Today’s first place pool winner was Cornell Armstong of Teaneck NJ with a 3lb porgy and in second place Ram Wong from Queens with a 4lb sea bass.

Fall Bass and Blues Half Day AM
Capt Ant reports an awesome start to half day jigging. We had the full fall bounty, bass, blues and bonito with a mess of jumbo porgies as well. It was evil this morning but the hearty crew did a great job at the rail. Today’s pool winner was Steve John with a 20lb bass.

3 Day Tuna and Tile Extended Ultra Limited.
Captain Jerry Reports on the first Day fishing started in the morning with wreck fish and some tile in the afternoon the tile bite slowed down trolling was slow so we anchored up on the first night and the Tuna bite was Good 20 yellow fin Tuna come over the rails on the first night.Chumming and Trolling was slow in the afternoon  a few tiles were caught we also had 3 wreck fish, Tile,Hake and 3 albacore . We then anchored up and the Tuna bite started around 10.30 Pm until 4am  we had  tunas from 60to 90lbs were caught. In the morning the trolling got slow. We manage to put together a nice mess of Tuna. We returned to the dock early All in all we had a nice trip.The first place Pool was a tie between Mr Brendon Reddan from Staten Island  and Mr  Jim Sincebaugh from Rochester, NY with a 90lb Tuna .Mr Greg Morgan from Milford CT with a 45lbs Albacore.
