Half Day Fluke Pm
The Pool Winner Anne Sagri from Fair Haven, VT with a 7.9
Montauk Local Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports great fishing today on the porgy grounds. We had nice porgies and sea bass up to 5lbs. Today’s first place pool winner was Shirley Danne of Queens Villiage with a 3.5lb porgy and in second place was Grady Seaulright of Yonkers with a nice 6lb fluke.
Capt. Ant reports another amazing week of nailing both trophy bass and plenty of them. 13 Behemoths were landed last week over 40lbs and countless others in the 30’s. It’s just insane fishing right now and while the weather has kept the waters cool it seems the large body of bass have hunkered down in Montauk waters for the summer. What would be even more insane is not taking advantage of natures gift and providing as many opportunities to land a trophy as we can. So once again we will run a special Wednesday Ultra limited trip on the Starship. Trip will depart at 8p and return at 4a at a fare of $125. Free coffee served all night and a commitment to hunting down trophy’s will be made by Captain and crew.
Please reserve as last weeks was a sell out and some were turned away due to the strict fisherman limit.
