Christmas Cod

Captain Ant reports an absolutely awesome day of cod fishing. We had action from start to finish today, which most likely was due to sloppy conditions. Most fares caught between 6 and 10 cod, with quite a few in the double digits today. Jigs once again were hot early for those who put the effort in. Jose Ruiz was on fire as was Mike Nelson. Our good friend, Sunday Joe Scotto, caught his first cod of the year. We saw some heftier fish today on average with our own Mavros nailing a 15lb and an 8lb double header. Mr. Oh also had a banner day filling his cooler with fat green cod. Joe Novello took the pool with a 19lber and also went home with a big bag of meat.    Fishing was so good even the upscale charter boat mate Bobby had 9 keepers.We are adding a special New Year’s Eve trip Wednesday as the weather looks great. New departure time will be 3am and returning 3pm. Come and get em!!!
