Captain Carl reports a very, very slow day on the Viking Starship. We had a lot of wind and left over seas to contend with. It seemed to have shut everything down. We scratched out 1 keeper cod, a few shorts, a handful of ling and a few bergalls. It was a very cold, slow day. There was a lot of bait around, so we are looking forward to getting back out there after all this horrible weather finally calms down. The pool winner was Michele Conenna of Brooklyn, NY with a 23 1/2 Inch cod. We are watching the weather for this upcoming week, and it looks like the next time we will get out for Local Cod will be on Wednesday, February 4th at 3am.
