Night Striped Bass
Captain Carl reports a tough grind on the night bass boat. We started off jigging and had some action with some bluefish, a few giant scup and 1 nice keeper bass. After we switched to the live eels, we had another bass, but that was it. Today’s first place pool winner was Tad Picker of the Bronx with a 20lb striped bass and in second place was Eric Stewart of Bayport with an 18lb striped bass.
Half Day PM
Capt Stephen Francis reports an okay afternoon today. It was a bit rainy towards the end and we had wind against tide, but we still managed to put some fish on the boat. Today’s pool winner was Cameron Snow of Huntington with a 5.267lb fluke.
Montauk Jumbo Spring Porgies
Captain Dave reports a much slower day porgy fishing due to the east wind. There were nice scup caught up to 3.5lbs. The pool winner was Leon Bangari with 3.75lb porgy. The second place pool winner was Salvatore Sicilia from Staten Island, NY along with his kids Daniella and Anthony with a 4.5lb fluke.
