Sunset Striped Bass and Bottom Fishing

Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Joey D reports another very good afternoon aboard the Viking Star. Again we had nice BIG fish- flukes, porgies, sea bass and bluefish. It was good good fishing! Today’s pool winner was Christine Dassler of Bohemia with a nice 6.2lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a great day of fishing today. There was plenty of action today with nice mixed size porgies and big sea bass. Everyone either had their limit or were close to it. Today’s first place pool winner was Mario Mancia of Hempstead with a 3.5lb porgy.

Half Day Fluke AM
Captain Joey D reports an excellent morning of fishing aboard the Viking Star! We had tons of action with nice big flukes, jumbo porgies and lots of sea bass. There was good action with very few shorts. Thank you to Anthony Quaresimo for helping out this morning. Pool winners to follow.
