Montauk Jumbo Porgies
Captain Dave reports another good day of porgy fishing aboard the Viking Star. There were plenty of porgies today- we went searching for the nice ones and we found them! All nice BIG quality fish today, with only a few small ones mixed in. But we had mostly all big fish today. We also had 2 keeper striped bass up to 25lbs, a couple fluke and some sea bass which were all released unharmed. Today’s pool winner was Forrest Durwin with a HUGE 4.25lb porgy.
