Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a great day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We started off fishing in the same spot as the last few days but it seems like it was picked clean. We went looking in a new spot then and we found a big pile of porgies and sea bass. There was lots of nice big sea bass with some medium sized porgies mixed in. We really had a mixed bag today with some trigger fish, blue fish, half a dozen fluke and a ton of mackerel coming over the rails. The pool winner was Benjamin Hercules with a 2.5lb scup.
