4 Day Full Moon Sword/ Tuna/ Tile LTD
Captain Jerry reports that even though the tuna bite was slow, fishing was good for tilefish, cod, pollock and hake. Day 1 the Tile Pool winner was Nathaniel Johnson of Roosevelt, NY with a 42lb tilefish and Jimmy Yanolatos of Bellmore had the Tuna Pool winner with a 22lb yellowfin. On the second day we concentrated on bottom fishing when it got a bit rough out. The fishing was good, however it was hard to stay on the rail. We did loose some big fish due to the rolling of the boat. The edible pool was also won by Jimmy Yanolatos with a 14lb cusk. There is still some room on the next TNT coming up on Fri Oct 13th.
