Full Moon Night Striped Bass
Captain Carl reports an absolutely excellent night of bass fishing aboard the Viking Starship for our Full Moon special trip! From the first drift to the last, we saw multiple fish landed on every drift, ranging anywhere from 28 inches to 43.7 pounds! We had a sold out crowd and a full limit of striped bass, so everyone onboard went home with a fish! It was excellent fishing! Ofni Avisai Ponce Garcia came up from Guatemala to visit his family in Wainscott, NY and won first place in the pool with a 43.7 pound moo cow striped bass, and “Long Island’s Blind Sea Captain” Capt Joe Buser from Bayshore, NY took second with a 40.1 pounder! Great job!
