Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports another fantastic day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. It was excellent fishing right away first thing in the morning with nice big fish coming over the rails. We moved around a bit and found a nice pile of a nice mix of both porgies and JUMBO sea bass. We also had about a dozen keeper cod. Today’s first place pool winner was Ifa Gordon from the Bronx with a nice 3.8lb porgy and in second place was James Hom of Manhattan with an 11lb cod.
