George’s Bank Christmas Cod
Captain Steven Sr reports an overall very good offshore trip aboard the Viking Star. It was a bit slow on the first day for jigging, we worked hard working all the areas and finally found something to work on for the rest of the day. There were cod and medium size pollack coming over the rails! It was fast and furious til the sun went down which made a bad day into a great day really fast! On day 2, we moved to the deep water wreck. When the sun came up, the rods doubled over on the first drift with huge sea bass, cod and bergals. All eye popping sizes with cod of all sized mixed in. After about 3 hours of fish coming over the rail, we had to go home, but everyones coolers were FULL, FULL, FULL! All in all it was a slammer trip! Thank you to all who were on board!

Because fishing was so great, Captain Steven Sr has decided to add on another offshore trip. We have added a 28 Hour Express Eye Popping Sea Bass/Cod/Hake trip. It will depart on Tues Dec 12th at 7pm and return on Wed Dec 13th at 11pm.
