Special Full Day Fluke and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Aaron reports a bit of a slow day aboard the Viking Stariper today. Fishing did improve as the day went on and the drift picked up. We managed a decent catch of some fluke and sea bass. Today’s pool winner was Yung Whanyi of Manorville with a nice 6.1lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. We had some nice quality porgies, all mixed sizes. We also had some nice sea bass, which everyone had their limit. Today’ s pool winner was Spoony of Irvington, NJ with a 3lb porgy.

Half Day Fishing AM Captain Joey D reports a wonderful morning of fishing today aboard the Viking Star. There was really good action all morning with fluke, porgies, sea bass and one small keeper striped bass. Today’s pool winner was John Plossl of Leroy with a 6.8lb fluke.

1/2 Day Fluke PM Captain Joe reports a very very good afternoon of fishing aboard the Viking Star. We had fluke, sea bass, one lonely porgy and even a few mackerel mixed in. Our pool winner today was Christine Dassler from Bohemia NY with a nice 6lb fluke!

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports an all in all good day of fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. We had some really good porgy fishing first thing this morning with some really nice sized fish coming over the rails. We also had some nice sized sea bass mixed in. Everyone had their fill and went home with full coolers.

Half Day Fishing AM Captain Joey D reports a good day of fishing this morning aboard the Viking Star. It started out slow but improved as the morning went on. We had fluke, sea bass and porgies. Today’s first place pool winner was Terri Coleman of Holbrook with a 5.15lb fluke and in second place was Christine Dassler of Bohemia with a 4.75lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. Conditions were tough early on in the morning but fishing was still ok. We got enough porgies that we were ready to move and start looking for sea bass. We went off shore and we got a nice mix of porgies and sea bass. On the slack tide we started getting lots of mackerel and everyone on the boat caught some mackerel. The pool was won by Gerry Tengo from Jersey City with a 2.1lb porgy and second place was won by Luis Pereira with a 5.1lb sea bass.
