Mon July 3

Montauk jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea bass Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship this morning. There was steady action all day but fish were a bit on the smaller side. When the tide slacked conditions were perfect and we picked away at some nice bigger fish for a while. When the tide ran again we brought in some more mixed size porgies. We also caught a handful of sea bass, two keeper stripers and some fluke. Ahan Ramdihal and Rudy Pena both from Brooklyn were joint first in the pool with nice 3.5lb porgies and second place went to Oliver Marshall with a 10lb Striped Bass!
