George’s Bank Cod, Pollock, Haddock – Monday, April 30th – Wednesday, May 2nd
Capt Dave reports that despite a slow start at George’s a good catch was put together.  The open bottom at George’s did not produce for us so we changed tactics and moved south.  The wreck we stopped at brought a good amount of haddock and a few cod were brought over the rail.  We then moved to the Nantucket wrecks where we had good fishing over night on the hook.  We stopped at a couple wrecks during the day and experienced very good fishing with cod in the teens and pollock in the mix.  The first place pool winner was Todd Dowd of East Islip with a 14lb cod.  The edible pol winner was Daris Dixon Clark of Bay Shore with a 10lb pollock.
