Captain Dave reports a great day of fishing.  Early in the morning we had a few fish close to home but not enough to stick around for so we sailed up into the bay where fishing started off at a good steady pick but got better and better as the day went on. By the last drops we had double headers and saw some really good size Porgies. Everyone had their limit today and we had plenty of smiling customers coming off the boat. Not all fish were Jumbo’s but we had a nice mix of all size Porgies. A couple of Sea bass and Striped Bass came over the rails which we released unharmed. This is a great start to the Viking Fleet 2018 Porgy season! Fishing is good and the weather is good so come on down. It’ Porgy Time!
