Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies & Knothead Seabass
Capt Dave reports good porgy fishing this morning aboard the Viking Starship.  The porgy bite was not as hot and heavy as it has been but the fish were of better quality then we’ve seen. Today’s fish on average were close to double the size of what we had yesterday.  We went looking for sea bass and found a bunch of smalls with a handful of keepers and lots of porgies in the mix!   Today’s pool winner was Hung Lee of Brooklyn, NY with a 3.5lb porgy.
