Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass
Capt Dave reports excellent fishing today aboard the Viking Starship.  We spent the morning picking away at big porgies.  Then we went looking for sea bass, we set anchor on a rock pile and picked up a lot of mixed sized porgies and some keeper sea bass.  Once the tide started moving we did a long drift that produced a lot of mixed sized porgies and  lot of keeper sea bass in the 3-4lb range.  Today’s pool winner was Tony Colmone of Belmore, NY with a 3lb porgy.
