Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Capt Dave reports excellent Jumbo Porgy fishing today! We spent most of the morning at the lighthouse with a steady pick of really good size Porgies with some SeaBass mixed in. We then headed offshore and found the biggest sized Porgies. The SeaBass fishing was a bit tough because the Porgies were biting their heads off, but everyone managed a few. The first place pool winner was Anthony Delucrezia from Staten Island with a 3.75 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Art Scialla from Wayne, NJ with a 4.5 lb Fluke.
