Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Capt Dave reports very good fishing on the Viking Starship. We had excellent conditions this morning and had very good Porgy fishing at the lighthouse with a handful of SeaBass mixed in. After that we took a ride and had a mix of Fluke, Mackerel, Porgies and SeaBass. We then hit our regular Sea Bass grounds where we had to pick through the small stuff, but everyone had their limit of SeaBass. The first place pool winner was Ciro from Glendale, NY with a 4 3/4 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Hong Lee from Brooklyn, NY with a 5 lb Sea Bass.
