Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies & Knothead Seabass
Captain Dave reports a tougher day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. The was a very strong new moon tide which made drifting difficult. We went out deep first looking for seabass and then we came back towards the lighthouse to look for porgies. Despite the fast tide and lots of tangles we still put together a decent catch of mixed sized porgies. The pool winner was Pete Perchilla from from Patchogue NY with a nice 3.4lb scup.
