Block Island Cod & SeaBass – Viking Star
Capt Steven Sr reports a good day on the Viking Star. Unfortunately the dogfish were thick on the Cod Grounds so it was a slow morning. We then backtracked to the SeaBass Grounds and it was good with plenty of SeaBass to go around. We also had some medium size Porgies mixed in. The first place pool winner was Kevin Tracy from the Bronx with an 11.5 lb Cod. The edible pool winner was George Demas from Queens with a 6.6 lb SeaBass.
