Fri July 19 – Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Capt Dave reports a fantastic trip on the Viking Starship. We had good conditions at the lighthouse with nice long drifts. We mostly had large Porgies with jumbos mixed in. We had steady action with everybody getting what they needed. We then moved offshore for SeaBass and it was very good. We had mixed size SeaBass with a lot of little ones mixed in, but there were plenty of jumbos. We also had a bunch of Fluke and Mackerel. The pool winner was Mike Kwok from Secaucus, NJ with a 2 3/4 lb Porgy.
