Mon July 22 – 1/2 Day Fishing PM

Captain Mike reports on the Viking Stariper a slower start to this afternoon’s trip. Captain Mike says the drift was almost non-existent to start the trip, but the action really picked up as the day went on . Large Quality Sea Bass and doormat sized Fluke were brought aboard with a good amount of Porgies as well. Pool winner this afternoon was John Becak from Islip Terrace with a 24″ Fluke weighing in at 5 pounds. A close second was our morning pool winner Angelica Eckhoff from Commack NY with a 23″ 4 pound Fluke.
