48 Hour Tuna Trip – Viking Fivestar

Capt Steven Jr reports a great trip off to the deep this weekend with 4 nice Big Eyes and a handful of big Yellowfin! We started off down where we have been fishing most of the year and we had a nice Yellowfin on the chunk, but the water just didn’t seem right. We couldn’t get anything going on the troll that morning, so we decided take a gamble and try a new piece of water another 40 miles away and it paid off!! As soon as we found the break we started marking fish and we put together a nice trip in a couple hours of fishing. The 4 Big Eyes weighed in at 115, 156, 187 and 232 lbs and the biggest Yellowfin was 98lbs! We can’t wait to get back out there tomorrow and try to keep them corralled up!
