Sun Jan 10 – Block Island Cod – Viking Fivestar

Capt Steven Jr reports  a great day of Cod fishing with the boys from the James Joseph on the Viking Fivestar. We started off in the dark with a steady pick of fish with a few shots of multiple fish on at once. From there we jumped around on some smaller pieces and picked a few fish everywhere we went. It was good to see some fish spread around on different drops and a good amount of bait in the area. Things are looking promising for this winter we just need the weather to cooperate for us. Sat Dec 20 – Block Island SeaBass/Blackfish/Cod – Viking Fivestar

Capt Steven Jr reports that we had to do some traveling, but we put together a good day of fishing in the end. We started by block and after the first 20 minutes of fishing it was obvious that last weeks storm had shut the bite down. So we took a long ride offshore and fished some wrecks with steady action on nice Seabass, a couple cod and some other wreck dwellers. We put in some extra time and ended up being rewarded for it.
