Mon Sept 2 to Thurs Sept 5 – 3 Day TNT LTD – Viking Star

Capt Jerry was happy to report a great first trip offshore for the Viking Star! We had solid bottom fishing during the day with plenty of Golden Tiles and other deep bottom dwellers. We also picked up a couple of Yellowfin on the troll. The night bite saw some more Yellowfin with some taken by jig and some with bait. All in all we had 20 nice Yellowfin on the boat, threw a couple of small ones back, and lost a few due to break offs. It was a great trip and there is tons of life out there! We can’t wait to get back out there this coming Tuesday, Sept 10 for a 2 night Tuna trip! There are a few spots open, so be sure to book and get in on the good Tuna bite while they are here! The Tile Fish pool winner was Jimmy Yanolatos with a 20 pounder. The Tuna pool winner was Rigo Bonilla with an 85 lb Yellowfin. The edible pool winner was Ken Clarke with an 18 lb Mahi-Mahi.
