Sun Sept 27- 1/2 Day Fishing AM
Capt JR reports from the Viking Star. Fishing was a little more challenging today than yesterday. We had a great group of anglers that had a lot of enthusiasm. They were getting to try out different techniques as demonstrated by our experienced crew. The bite on the morning tide was a little slow. No keeper Fluke this morning but some nice Knothead Sea Bass, Porgies and Mackerel. All the Viking Captains, Crew and Office Staff want to give a Emily B. a big send off on her last day working the 1/2 day Fishing Trips this season. She’s promised to come back next year. She’s a favorite of anglers and the entire Montauk Harbor Community. Mary Weiss of Hartsdale, NY won the pool this morning with a 3.2 pound Sea BassĀ photos to follow ……………….
