Wed Oct 28- Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Capt Dave reports that we did very well today on the Viking Starship. We started the day off with a very fast drift and good bite of mostly Porgies. The Porgies we landed were all medium to large in size. When we had enough at that spot we headed off shore a bit for the Sea Bass. There we had a really nice mix of Sea Bass and Porgies to end the day. A couple of guys had Triggerfish onboard today also. First place in today’s pool went to Ronal Cruz of Pleasantville, NJ who landed a nice 3lb Porgy. Hugh Beason of the Bronx caught himself a 4lb Sea Bass to take the edible pool.
