Sun Nov 15 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a good day on the Viking Starship. We started out a little slow with a steady pick of smaller Porgies than we like. We moved a few times and the bite improved every time.  Our last spot was the best of the day with nice big Porgies, good sized Sea Bass and at least a dozen nice size Cod on board. Terence Persaud of Brooklyn, NY won first place in the pool with a nice 3.6 pound Porgy. Esteban Aquasunas of the Bronx won the edible pool with a 10 lb Cod.
