Mon June 21 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies

Capt Dave reports a slower day on the Viking Starlite. The day started off down the beach and it was slow. We made a move and drifted south of the lighthouse where we found true Jumbos, but not a lot. After that we tried to the east and it was a slow pick of mixed size Porgies, some SeaBass (released unharmed), Bluefish and about 1/2 dozen Fluke. The pool winner was Donald Moy from NY, NY with a 3.1 lb Porgy. The trip for tomorrow is cancelled due to weather.
