Mon July 12- Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass
Capt Dave reports that fishing today was AS GOOD AS IT GETS! We stared the day off at the lighthouse and fishing was the best that you could imagine. All keepers were a nice size and Porgies were flying over the rails. We headed to the east to target the Sea Bass and were rewarded with plenty of Sea Bass and plenty more Porgies. We saw a lot of smaller fish here but all the keepers were nice size. We headed back to the lighthouse to finish the day and then headed home with every angler onboard retaining their limits. We did not have a pool on today’s trip. We are sailing again tomorrow at 5am, our office is open at 4am for check in and to purchase tickets.
