Tue Sept 7 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports a good day on the Viking Starship. To start we tried the shallow water closer to Block Island. It was better Porgy fishing than we have been seeing with mostly Large fish and some Mediums. Once the tide got running it slowed down, so we went off to the deep. Once the strong tide and wind eased off it took a bit of plugging away, but we got our limits of SeaBass with some Real Jumbo Porgies in the mix! Gim Yee from NYC was the pool winner with a 3.1 lb Porgy.
