Fri Sept 10 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports a great day on the Viking Starship! After trying a little local fishing we headed up close to Block Island where fishing was Red Hot with an excellent Porgy bite. We left them biting and headed south of the island looking for SeaBass. We made two drops and had a nice mix of Large and Jumbo Porgies and found a bunch of SeaBass in the deeper water. The pool winner was Lionel Victor from Deer Park, NY with a 3 lb Porgy.
