Sun Oct 31 – Montauk Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports a decent day on the Viking Starship despite the rough conditions. We caught fish everywhere we tried until the dogs found us. We moved around a bunch and had nice SeaBass up to 4 lbs, mixed sized Porgies and a handful of Cod. It was not a bad day considering the wind and the dogfish. The first place pool winner was Steve Clarke from Bloomingdale, NJ with a 3.5 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Fidel Coreai from Bronx, NY with an 8 lb Cod. We are sailing daily at 5am.
