Sat Dec 18 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports a great trip on the Viking Starship. Porgy fishing was phenomenal with some of the biggest Porgies we have seen all year. Everyone ended up with a handful of good sized SeaBass, but you had to pick through the little ones. There were also a couple of Cod and Pollock. Pantelis Kounelias from Edison, NJ won the first place pool with a 4 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Antonio Rosas from New Y0rk with a 5 lb Cod. Tomorrow’s trip is cancelled due to weather. We will be sailing for Block Island Mixed Bag on Monday at 5AM.
