Sun May 22 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt. Dave reports a very good day of fishing on the Viking Starlite, in fact one of the better days of fishing so far this season. They had 2 steady hours of good fishing pulling up Porgies of great sizes and great color. There were plenty of fish to be caught ending with a great selection of Porgies and a handful of tremendous sized Blue Fish! Overall it was a great day of fishing and it seems to get better each day we go. The pool winner went to Victor Ramanand from Baldwin, NY with a 2lb 12oz Porgy and the edible pool winner went to Dalton Johnson from Amityville, NY with an 11lb 15 oz Blue Fish. Tomorrows Montauk Spring Porgies is cancelled (Monday, May 23), but we have spots open all week. Come on down and catch some Porgies!
