Sat July 16 – 1/2 Day Fishing PM

Capt Steven reports a Mac attack on the Viking Star. The Mackerel moved in heavy. Steven Sr estimates about 250 for the trip. We saw them on every drop, along with SeaBass and Porgies. It was a lot of action keeping the rods bent all afternoon. We did not see as many Fluke this afternoon as we like because the Mackerel didn’t give us a chance for them to get to the hooks. It was a lot of fun. There was a tie for the pool with Chao Li from Brooklyn, NY with a 2.8 lb Fluke and Danielle Ishikawa from Seaford, NY with a 2.8 lb Sea Bass.
