Tue July 19 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Capt JR reports that despite the very windy conditions we had an excellent trip onboard the Viking Star this morning. We found lots of KEEPER Fluke with some beautiful large ones in the mix. Anglers were also busy boating some very nice keeper Sea Bass and Porgies. Sweetening the catch further, lots of Trigger fish came over the rail as an added bonus. The first place pool winner was Lily Marigliano from South Kortwright, NY with a 4.2 lb Fluke. The second place pool winner was Mike Boyce from West Islip, NY with a 3.7 lb Fluke.
