Thurs Aug 4 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Capt JR reports that the morning’s trip on the Viking Star was productive, with the primary catch being Sea Bass. We fished some deeper areas and in addition to the good catch of Sea Bass, we also boated some nice keeper Fluke and some very large Porgies. Fish dinner for all. The first place pool winner was Doug Gradel from Fort Salonga, NY with a 4 lb SeaBass. The edible pool winner was Joe Ippolito from Briarbrock Manor, NY with a 3 lb Fluke.
