Wed Aug 10 – Striped Bass Fishing

 Capt Carl was very happy to report that the August Full Moon delivered for us! After a couple drifts by the lighthouse with no bites, we took a ride and man did it pay off! We had multiple hook ups and landings drift after drift for a couple hours! It was great consistent action with Striped Bass ranging in size from 18 inches up to 40 lbs! A lot of Big Striped Bass were released, as well as the shorts, with a very respectable number of slot fish making it to the filet table! The end of the night got quiet with the end of the tide, but all in all it was a great trip! Tom O’Neil from North Brunswick, NJ took the pool with a 34 1/2 inch 19 pound Striped Bass!
