Wed Aug 24 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a good day on the Viking Starship. We had a mix of large to medium Porgies at the lighthouse. Conditions were tougher today on the Sea Bass grounds with a faster drift. We had to pick through a lot of smaller Sea Bass today, but we caught okay. There were also 8 keeper Fluke, a few Blue fish and a couple of Trigger fish. The pool winner was Ian Ralph from the Bronx with a 2 1/2 lb Porgy.
