Sun Oct 30 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a good day of fishing on the Viking Superstar. It was a nice day of steady fishing, it started off a bit slow in the morning but we worked our way into a nice rythnm. We had a mixed bag of nice sized Porgies and SeaBass. We had Porgies from medium to jumbo sized, as well as a lot of large SeaBass and a handful of Cod fish. Overall, it was a beautiful day for fishing with a nice selection of fish to bring home. The first place pool winner went to Andives Ding from Edison, NJ with a jumbo 3.5 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner went to Geremy Sanagustin from Edison, NJ as well with a 6.7 lb Cod fish. We are sailing again tomorrow (Monday, October 31) on the Viking Star for the 5am Block Island Porgies and SeaBass.
