Mon Dec 5- Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports good fishing today on the Viking Superstar today. We had a nice mixed bag of Porgies, SeaBass and Cod fish, all different sizes. The Porgies seemed to be more prevalent than they have been lately, definitely a thicker pile. SeaBass fishing was still just as good, just more Porgies in the mix, but we had some beautiful sizes today for the SeaBass as well as a half a dozen Cod fish on the boat. The first place pool winner went to Nancy Liu from Brooklyn with a 2.7 lb Porgy. The second place pool winner went to Jax Chin from Englewood, NJ beating out a Cod fish at the weight of 5.8 lbs. We are sailing again tomorrow at 5 am on our Block Island Porgies and SeaBass trip on the Viking Star.
