Wed Dec 21 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports an okay day on the Viking Starship. It was a tough go inshore, so we headed to the deeper water and fished two wrecks which turned out pretty good. Everyone managed about a limit of Sea Bass and some Porgies. There were also about 10 Cod. The pool winner was DeJian Huang from Brooklyn, NY with a 3 lb Porgy. Tomorrow will begin the Block Island Mixed Bag trip on the Viking Starship. We will depart at 5am and return at 3pm. The fare is $130. We will be sailing December 22, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 weather permitting for Block Island Mixed Bag on the Viking Starship with Captain Dave. This trip will target all bottom dwellers around the waters of Block Island including Cod, Sea Bass, Porgies and whatever else we can find! Fishing gear and boots are recommended. We do have a full galley on board to purchase food and beverages. Fishing equipment is available for rent on the boat. Tackle is available for purchase. Bait is included.
