Mon May 29 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports a really good day of fishing today on the Viking Starlite. There was plenty of action all around the boat with Porgies coming up in the medium- large sized range which is a bit smaller than we have been seeing. We did have a handful of jumbo sized Porgies in the mix, but overall there was plenty of fish to be caught and almost everyone left with their limit. The pool winner today went to Omar Ibanez from Toms River, NJ with a 2.7 lb Porgy.
